A child's first steps into reading can feel a bit daunting. This phase of the Phonics All-Stars program allows readers to explore familiar consonant sounds and short vowel sounds within short, simple words. This phase gives an inviting introduction to reading through repetition and familiarity. Readers will gain a sense of confidence as they tackle each of the hi-lo books in the set, increasing fluency as they work their way through achievable text. Precise wording is paired with coordinated images for maximum reading comprehension.
