It's time for a new phase in the Phonics All-Stars program! Readers can celebrate their achievements and skills as they approach longer texts and new letter blends. This phase introduces CVCC and CCVC words, as well as common high-frequency words including said, have, and were. Hi-lo stories with familiar themes allow readers to practice these new sounds, giving them a firm phonics foundation. Readers can look to corresponding visuals for context clues while sounding out accessible words for maximum understanding.
